Residents and visitors in the L. A. area, whether vegan, kosher or another diet type, know how vital great food is at dinner time. Luckily enough there are some great places for Kosher dining around LA. The Beverly Hills area has fascinating and delightful places to visit, including varying styles of shops and cafes.
A Cow Jumped Over the Moon is on Rodeo Drive and is a part of the Beverly Hills Rodeo Collection. It is a nice kosher bistro with a full bar, garage or valet parking and one of the more elegant places to go that's still happy with groups, kids and casual attire. Attentive service and tasty food.
Superb surfing is one reason Southern California draws so many visitors. The varied theme parks are another. Many of these are near Los Angeles County, taking folk out of their comfortable zone across the county line to Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm. Finding kosher food while traveling outside of LA could be a challenge.
Contact Disneyland City Hall to discover which restaurants offer not only kosher, but gluten-free meals, too. Do this in advance, as the meals are ordered from outside kosher caterers. A card is needed to guarantee purchase of the meals. If the meal is served at a buffet, the price typically covers the one special meal, not as an all-you-can-eat offering. If the park executives offer the chance to bring in your own kosher food, request an official pass to present to the guard at the gate.
The Pizza Station is a kosher pizza and Mexican food restaurant on West Pico in LA.The service is great and the food succulent. A delivery charge will bring their kosher food to areas like Long Beach, Malibu, Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm. Guests are never far away from the meal of their choice when they visit LA.
